On Friday May 17th , Brew Pub Lotzza Motzza Pizza in conjunction with the Wausau Police Department will be hosting the 3rd annual “Pizza With Police” to celebrate local officers during National Law Enforcement Week. The event will take place at the 400 Block Downtown in Wausau from 4-7 PM. Complimentary Brew Pub Lotzza Motzza pizza will be served out of the Brew Pub Pizza Trailer (see below) to officers and their families while the public is invited to enjoy a ¼ Brew Pub Pizza and beverage for $5. The proceeds from this event will go back to the Museum of Valor which will be located in Madison, WI honoring men and women who have lost their lives in the line of duty.

“The Museum of Valor in Madison is in its fundraising stage. We are in process of raising the dollars that it will take to build this wonderful landmark of commemoration for those who have lost their lives in the line of duty”, said Jim Palmer, Executive Director of the Wisconsin Professional Police Association and Wausau native. “This structure will also honor those men and woman who are true heroes in blue and who have gone above and beyond the call of duty to serve our great citizens of Wisconsin.”

The Pizza With Police Event offers an opportunity for families to come and interact with their local law enforcement officers while checking out a Wausau PD squad car, Wausau PD K9 officer(s), the Marathon County SWAT armored vehicle, and the Bomb Disposal vehicle with two robots. Plus, enjoy inflatables music, and a photobooth. Pizza With Police will be fun for the entire family.
