The CITY OF WAUSAU, WI, population 40,000+ is commencing a search to fill a full-time Project Engineer I position. This position will design, plan, and coordinate public works projects with the Project Manager for the City of Wausau Public Works Department as related to sanitary sewers, water mains, storm sewers, curbs and gutter, streets, and other assigned projects. This position requires accuracy, proficiency, and independent judgment to initiate, monitor, and complete projects in compliance with all necessary regulations and requirements.
Minimum requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with three (3) to five (5) years increasingly responsible municipal or civil engineering experience, proficiency in Autocad Civil 3D Design – Release 2008 or higher, availability for off-hour work assignments, meetings and activities, and a valid WI Driver’s License. A WI Professional Engineers License is strongly preferred.
Salary compensation range is $52,150 (minimum) - $73,018 (maximum) annually, depending upon qualifications, with excellent benefits.
