Sylvan Tubing Extending Season |
Due to excellent snow conditions, public snow tubing at Sylvan Hill Park in Wausau will continue through March 17, 2013 (weather and snow conditions permitting). Public hours are Fridays from 6 to 9:30 PM, Saturdays from 1:30 to 5 PM and another from 6 to 9:30 PM and Sundays from 1:30 to 5 PM. Private rentals will end on March 1, 2013. Attendance for both public and private tubing through February 24 is 12,406, which is 10% more than last year’s attendance for the same time period.
The cost for tubing at Sylvan Hill is $6 for ages 13 and younger (must be at least 42 inches tall), and $8.50 for ages 14 and older. For more information or to check on current conditions, contact the Park office at 715 261-1550.
