Annual Hydrant Flushing Begins May 9, 2011

Wausau Water Works will flush hydrants throughout the City of Wausau beginning Monday night, May 9 and continuing until Thursday, May 26.  Most of the flushing is done during the evening hours from 9 p.m. until about 4 p.m., with the exception of the week of May 23 when it is done during the daytime hours.  A complete schedule of the flushing and important recommendations regarding water use during the flushing process is outlined in the Spring 2011 newsletter.
