Wausau Water Works Commission will hold a public hearing on Monday, December 13, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers, City Hall, to hear comments on the proposed sewer rate increase.
A presentation will be made outlining the utility's need to increase revenues by 25% to adderss an on-going cash deficiency, increase in operating and maintenance costs and the need for capital improvements.
Based on the proposed rates, a family of two will see an increase of approximately 10 cents per day while a family of four will see an increase of approximately 17 cents per day.
