The City of Wausau has prepared a project plan to amend Tax Increment District Number Four as Distressed. Based upon financial projections the Common Council will consider a resolution finding that the project costs for Tax Increment District Number Four will exceed the amount of revenues from all sources that the city expects the district to generate during the life of the district. The City of Wausau seeks distressed designation as a means of securing supplemental revenue as a recipient of Tax Increment District Number Two excess increment. The Tax Increment District Number Four Project Plan Amendment will be considered by the Joint Review Board on July 14th and Plan Commission on July 20th.
