General Information:

Sylvan Tubing policies:

If parking lot is full of cars, there may be long lines and waits in between tubing runs.  Call the Sylvan Chalet at 715.842.5411 for up to date information.

• A minimum height restriction of 42” in order to tube. The height restriction ensures that tubers are of sufficient size to quickly exit the tubes and the landing area, thereby reducing potential collisions.

• No riding double on tubes. Multiple riders on the same tube may be at risk of impacting with other riders in the same tube. This includes holding small children on one’s lap.

In addition to the tubing hill, the park includes a large chalet with fireplace and a snack bar serving pizza, nachos, soft pretzels and pre-packaged foods and hot and cold beverages.

Call Sylvan Hill ahead to see if both tows are in operation.  If one tow is closed there could be long waits in line.  Sylvan phone number is 715/842-5411.

Contact the Park Office at 261-1550 for more information.

Cancellation Policies:
The Park Department reserves the right to cancel a private rental.  If the Park Department cancels a private rental, all deposits paid to date will be refunded.  Private rentals are typically cancelled by the department because of poor snow coverage or unsafe conditions on the hill or tow paths, or because of a mechanical failure of the tows or in the chalet that can not be repaired prior to the start of the rental.  If the Park Department cancels a rental, the group will have the option of rescheduling their event in the current season, as open dates and times allow, or receiving a full refund of all fees paid to date.

Cancellations of scheduled private tubing parties by the user will result in the entire $105.50 deposit forfeited.  Cancellations made the day of the event, for any reason (including cold temperatures), will result in the entire $105.50 deposit forfeited.  No rescheduling of event is allowed on the event date.

If the private group cancels one day or more before the event date, they have the option to reschedule the event date one time at no charge within the current season.  If event date can not be rescheduled during the current season, the above mentioned forfeitures will apply.
