Dog Gone Pool Parties

Update July 27, 2018:

Due to newly released guidelines and direction from the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (licensing agency for public swimming pools and water attractions), Dog Gone Pool parties at the Splash Pad must be discontinued.

The department will endeavor to create other off-leash experiences for dog owners and their pets.  As monies raised at these events went to off-set financial assistance for families in need so that they had access to Wausau pools and swimming lessons, the department will seek other events or avenues to raise these funds.

Dog Gone Pool Parties are for dogs and their people.  These events are off-leash dog romps to raise funds for safe swimming opportunities for those families who can't afford swim lessons or pool passes.  Door prizes.  2 dogs per adult limit.
